 Visitor Center Open Daily 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.visit.html
Aloha!
From Ka‘u Coffee Mill on the volcanic island of Hawai‘i we offer locally grown, hand selected, dried green and roasted Ka‘u Coffee from award-winning small farms on the slopes of Mauna Loa, near Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park. We have designed our mill to care for the coffee grown on our own farms, and we are able to provide numerous services to many of the other local growers, of which there are more than 80. Our goal is to bring Ka‘u Coffee to you, to arrange for your visit to the farms, our village of Pahala, our seashore and the nearby Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park. We invite you to stay in Ka‘u Coffee country.
Visit our Ka‘u Coffee Mill & Visitor Center, open daily 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., to taste the coffee and see the processing from coffee drying to roasting. Enjoy the beautiful original murals and paintings by Kathleen Kam, depicting the farm life and wildlife of Ka‘u. Take home Ka‘u Coffee and other gifts of Ka‘u when you visit our Ka‘u Coffee Mill Visitor Center.
Check out the stories of the Ka‘u Coffee growers, their international awards, the new coffee mill and the beauty of Ka‘u. Celebrate Ka‘u Coffee farmers successes - Ka‘u Coffee farmers were recently named three of the ten 2012 Specialty Coffee Association of America's International Coffees of the Year award. Meet Ka‘u Coffee farmers in Pahala, Hawai‘i, at the Ka‘u Coffee Festival on May 4, 2013, along with Miss Ka‘u Coffee Brandy Shibuya. The coffee festival always features Hawaiian music and entertainment and tastings of the best coffee, directly from our farmers. To read about our current events, check out our blog.
Feel free to buy yourself a taste of Ka‘u Coffee from our online store or come see us in action!
Mahalo,
Ed Olson

Harnessing the Power of Water
In an effort to be green, our team is in the process of renovating an old sugar plantation reservoir and flume system to irrigate the coffee farms and eventually run the coffee mill and macadamia nut processing facility off hydroelectric energy.
